2. Install & Configure SCCM ( Smart Cloud Cost Management) Part-1 Here is the step-by-step to install and configure SCCM - Logon as root user - Change the directory sccm_installer/ - Copy the SCCM tar file CIQD9ML.tar to a temporary folder - Edit the sccm_install.propoerties file using vi editor - Change the default value for SCCM_HOME, SCCM admin username, SCCM admin password and ports used by SCCM - Check the ports once again - Execute the following shell script - ./sccm_install.sh - Read the license agreement - Enter 1 to accept the license or 2 to decline - Wait for installation to complete it - Open the following log file and check the errors - /opt/ibm/sccm/logs/install.log

Install & Configure SCCM ( Smart Cloud Cost Management) Part-2 - Change the directory, for example - cd /opt/ibm/sccm/bin/postconfig/ - Run sco-configure.sh shell script, this will configure sccm with sco ( Smart Cloud Orchestrator) and JazzSM - Need to pass the parameters ( Central Server 1 hostname, keystone admin user password, SCCM username and password, JazzSM server name, JazzSM username and password) - ./sco.configure.sh -l 172.16.34.201 -kp sco4svt -su smadmin -sp password -j 172.17.43.1 -ju smadmin -jp password

Install & Configure SCCM ( Smart Cloud Cost Management) Part-2 contd.., - the shell script will create SCCM database i.e., SCCMDB and initialize it on Central Server 1 - os_keystone data source is configured in SCCM - OpenStackContext.xml job file is set to run - A cronjob is set up to automatically run the various OpenStack job files to collect context and metering data from SCO - Central User Registry is configured to allow Keystone admin users to log in to SCCM - Metering notifications are enabled for all registered regions - Data sources are configured for all registered SCO regions in SCCM - SCCM is configured to listen to metering events from SCO Please note: The offering templates for SCO used to create default rate codes and values are imported. The SCCM reporting package is imported into JaZZSM reporting

5. Install & Configure SCCM ( Smart Cloud Cost Management) Part-2 contd.., - Keystone is configured as the Central User Registry on SCCM server and on JazzSM server - All JazzSM users are assigned access to run SCCM reports - TCR Administration and Authoring capabilities are restricted to the JazzSM Admin user only. - The SmartCloud Cost Management data source is configured in Jazz for Service Management related reporting - The SCCM reporting package is imported into JazzSM reporting - Now, the SCCM database is catalogedd on JazzSM server - Wait for installation to be completed successfully - Open sco_configure.log file using vi editor from /opt/ibm/sccm/logs directory to check if any issues during the installation and configuration

Install & Configure SCCM ( Smart Cloud Cost Management) Part-3 • Open SCCM Admin UI by entering URL htto://IP Address of SCCM Server: 9443/Blaze • Open "Data Source" and verify the connection • All data sources configured during sco_configure.sh canbe viewed • Data Source Type=Message Broker • Verify Rate Table=Standard • crontab -l // cron job is set to run nightly will run keystone and openstack job files • Load Tracking=SelectedFeed • // Load Tracking panel allow to view the jobs that have loaded data into the SCCM database - Verify the Feeds by Accounting Data / Loaded Dates - Verify Log Files • Select Job ID ( Eg, OpenStackCinderVolumeProcess) by year- wise

7. Install & Configure SCCM ( Smart Cloud Cost Management) Part-4 - Open the JazzSM UUI by https://IP Address of JazzSM server: 16311/ibm/console - Console Settings, User Roles - User Roles // View the keystone users set up in JazzSM during sco_configure.sh - Verify available users - All users have been assigned tcrPortalOperator role to allow them to run reports - Open Common Reporting - Public Folders, Invoices --> Run Total Invoice - SCCM Reporting Package has been imported into Tivoli Common Reporting - Open Parameter Selection - Select various options - Run Total Invoice, screen display Total Invoice details - Run Cloud Reporting, screen displays Project Summary Report - Shows various options ( eg Summary, Counts, Instances & Durations)
