Indigenous knowledge focuses on the ways of knowing, seeing, and thinking that are passed down from generations to generations. What kind of Problems could indigenous knowledge solve?: What kind of Problems could indigenous knowledge solve? Indigenous knowledge solves cultural ,environmental, and economic problems. developed and adapted continuously changing environments and passed down from generation to generation and closely dealing with people’s cultural values. What makes Indigenous Knowledge important?: What makes Indigenous Knowledge important? Indigenous knowledge is important because it changes religious peoples point of view on the world. What ways of knowing connects to Indigenous knowledge?: What ways of knowing connects to Indigenous knowledge? The three ways of knowing that connects to Indigenous Knowledge is Perception, Religion, and History. Example 1. Perception : Example 1. Perception Perception connects to Indigenous Knowledge because they both give off your information and the way you see things. So if my mom was to tell me that God was the way and to always believe and pray, then I'll make my kids be the same way because that's what I'm use to and see as the "right" way Example 2. Religion : Example 2. Religion Religion and Indigenous Knowledge connect because their both passed down from generation to generation. For example, my great grandmother is Christian, she passed it down to my grandmother, my grandmother passed it down too my mother, and my mother passed it down to me. So we all are Christian and follow the Christian way. example 3. history : example 3. history History and Indigenous Knowledge is connected because Indigenous Knowledge is ways of knowing passed down from generation to generation. Its history, we get all our ways of knowing from older generations. For example, my dad's great grandma taught him his manners and he uses the same techniques on his kids.
