Slide1:  How does your final outcome relate to your draft design? Any differences? Why?DVFV Slide2:  My final outcome relates to my draft design in many ways, for example the first similarity between the two is the logo is in the same position, meaning I was happy with where it was on the magazine and therefore felt no need to change it. The second comparison being the text is mostly the desire of the draft design, with a few minor changes. The differences being the barcode is vertical in the final outcome whereas it’s horizontal in the draft. The flash is blue and circular in the draft whereas it’s red and in a diamond shape in the final outcome. The plugs on the right are also unpredicted on the draft but are present on the final outcome. The artist name was also changed from the draft. Most of these changes were made to improve the magazine and make it more representable to my gender. Slide3:  My final outcome relates to my draft design in many ways, for example the first similarity between the two is the house style of my draft is similar to that of my final outcome. The logo is in the same position in both magazines. Another comparison being the text is mostly the same, with a few small changes. Differences being the header is changed from the A - Side to the J - side, this was done to link the header with my brand name ‘JVM’. The mini logo has also changed. Not to mention the change of the artist, reasons being because I wanted to make him a counter stereotypical rapper. Most of these changes were made to improve the magazine and make it more representable to my gender as well as making the magazine overall look more professional. Slide4:  My final outcome relates to my draft design in many ways, for example the first similarity between the two is the house style of my draft is similar to that of my final outcome. The artists are in the same position in both magazines. Another comparison being the text is mostly the same, with a few things missing. Differences being the logo is in a different position on my draft compared to my final outcome. My draft also doesn’t include the right position of my pull quote and the date is different. Not to mention the draft hasn’t included the page numbers. Most of these changes were made to improve the magazine and make it more representable to my gender as well as making the magazine overall look more professional, sharp and smooth.
