SOME IMPORTANT ISSUES Staff taking care of old people in their homes often don’t have time to get to grips with complicated IT-solutions, but as they are dealing with a group of vulnerable people the need for good documentation is paramount. When care assistants visit people in their homes, they take the NFC smartphones with them and note in the app with special forms how the old person is being cared for. They make a record of when he or she has eaten, showered, and note any other observations, such as whether he or she was feeling well.. 1
