3 What is an HVO?
4 What is an High Value Opportunity? A HVO is a major overseas project with a UK accessible contract value in excess of £250 million; The High Value Opportunity Programme is a core UKTI strategy to identify, analyse and inform UK business about Global High Value Opportunities (HVO's*), specifically: - Identifying, qualifying and structuring specific HVO's aligned with UK capability; - Raising awareness of the HVO portfolio, connecting UK based companies and support bidding; - Delivering value by helping companies, large and small, access the supply chain and win business. As at January 2014 UK companies verified that UKTI has helped them win GBP 6.2bn of HVO contracts during FY2013/14 .
