Who are we? A Professional Employer currently employing approx 1600 workers on behalf of other businesses. We share the onerous responsibility of employment: you retain day to day management and we look after the 1000s of legislative changes and critical service responsibilities such as payroll, superannuation and workers’ comp. A Workplace Consultancy for small to medium sized businesses on all employment – related matters.

Fair Work Act • Penalties up to $51,000 per breach & $10,200 per breach for the Director • Unfair Dismissal – 6 months wages • Wages – Back pay up to 6 years • Adverse action – No upper limit • Harassment and Discrimination – No upper limit
WH&S Act –Category 1: recklessly exposes a person to risk of death or serious injury or illness –$3 million Corporations; $600K PCBU’s & Officers or 5 years imprisonment or both Reckless = intentional, wilful or grossly negligent –Category 2: serious risk of harm without recklessness $1.5 million Corporations; $300,000 PCBU’s & Officers –Category 3: fails to comply with WHS duty –$500K corporations; $100K PCBU’s & Officers An INJURY or INCIDENT does not need to occur before these penalties are imposed
Independent Contractors Act • Back pay of wages, penalties and leave entitlements for past 6 years. • Fines up to $51,000 per breach & $10,200 per Director per breach. E.g. Brisbane company fined $214,500 over sham contracting for call centre operators.
