THe Jewish Holiday Hanukkah means dedicate and beginning. Hanukkah is also known as the Jewish Festival of Lights.

The Jew's Victory Hanukkah celebrates the Jew’s victory more than 2,000 years ago. They fought the Greeks for religious freedom. They only had one day’s worth of sacred oil. But the oil burned miraculously for eight days until more oil arrived.

bob The Jewish people, of course, had a feast during there holiday. They ate things such as potato pancakes and jelly donuts. They are big on there deserts!
