Hanukkah Hanukkah has two names it is also called the Jewish festival of the lights. Hanukkah celebrates the Jew’s victory more than 2,000 years ago as they fought the Greeks for religious freedom.

Hanukkah Hanukkah has 8 candles on the candle holder. The 8 candles stand for 8 days of Hanukkah.

Hanukkah The reason there is 8 days of Hanukkah because the days worth of sacred oil for lamps, the oil burned miculously for 8 days until more oil arrived that’s why we celebrate Hanukkah.
