KMR, the Semantic Web and Everything

My own research interests

Ideas for degree projects

Applications at KMR Concept-browser “Conzilla” Conceptual modeling tool and browser Collaboration server “Collaborilla” Makes collaboration around conceptual models possible Metadata editor “SHAME” Framework for editing and presentation of metadata Electronic Portfolios based on “SCAM” Framework Metadata repository

What's “semantic” about this? Everything! Conzilla's conceptual models are RDF graphs Everything is stored in triples: visual alignment, metadata, content Implicit “contextual neighbourhoods” Collaborilla registers dependencies and allows for extensions of graphs (not restricted to conceptual models) SHAME uses RDF metadata Highly flexible through “Annotation Profiles” SCAM Basis for building repositories for the Semantic Web Will soon be using Named Graphs

Everything!

Conzilla's conceptual models are RDF graphs

Everything is stored in triples: visual alignment, metadata, content

Implicit “contextual neighbourhoods”

Collaborilla registers dependencies and allows for extensions of graphs (not restricted to conceptual models)

SHAME uses RDF metadata

Highly flexible through “Annotation Profiles”

SCAM

Basis for building repositories for the Semantic Web

Will soon be using Named Graphs
