1. How do I find my most visited pages?

Click “Behavior”

Click “Overview”

On pages…! What pages are your potential customers visiting and what impression do they get when they’re there?! Find your worst pages and make them better by adding value in some way.

2. How do I find my top sources of traffic?  

Click “Acquisition”

Click “All Traffic”

On traffic sources…! Organic = from Google search! Direct = people typing in your URL! Referral = people clicking on a link on another website that leads to yours.!

To increase traffic…! Organic – optimize, create content, get links! Direct – create something of value! Referral – get more social!

3. How do I find how much mobile traffic I received last year?  

Click “Audience”

Click “Mobile” then “Overview”

4. How do I find where a spike in traffic came from?  

Select the day before and after the traffic spike

Click “Acquisition” then “Overview”

Bonus: What do we know works really well to increase traffic to your website?

Tips 1.  2.  3.  Always compare your reports to a previous period of time. Determine your own path to profitability. Don’t measure too small (IE: Weeks or months)
