PRESCRIBED LIMIT 5000/100ML WATER. • OXYGEN LEVEL 1.2MG/LITRE ,70% BELOW LOWEST SURVIVAL LIMIT FOR AQUATIC LIFE. Dry flow- 1500mld High flow- 55000mld Lean summer flow-500mld

OVERVIEW OF GOMTI ACTION PLAN • IMPLEMENTED AFTER 600 ACRE SEWAGE FARM LAND USE WAS CHANGED AND TRANSFORMED TO GOMTINAGAR. • HIGH LEVEL OF TOXICITY AND DECR. OXYGEN QUANTITY MOTIVATED THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PLAN. • THE PROJECT WAS DIVIDED INTO TWO PHASE WHICH COVERED LUCKNOW,SULTANPUR AND JAUNPUR. • IMPLEMENTATION OF UPFLOW ANAEROBIC SLUDGE BLANKET TECHNOLOGY (UASBT)

PHASE 1 • 42 MLD SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AT DAULATGANJ , LKO. • RS 61.01CRORE SANCTIONED BY CENTRE GOVT. • LUCKNOW CITY BUDGET WAS RS 50.29 CRORE . • INTERCEPTION AND DIVERSION OF KUKRAIL NALA , RS 8.06 + RS 5.58 CRORE. • DIVERSION OF SEWAGE OF GAUGHAT,SARKATA,PATA,NAGARIA,WAZIGANJ,GHASIYAMANDIR AND CREATION OF STP. • AMOUNTING TO RS 28.5 CRORE • COMMISSIONED IN 12/2002 • 6.81 CRORE WAS USED FOR EMERGENCY WORK • CLEANING OF MAJOR NALAS ,SEWER CCTV SURVEY ,DIVERSION OF GAUGHAT NALA • RENOVATION OF CIS GOMTI SEWAGE PUMPING STATION (CGSPS) • COMPLETED BY MARCH 1999

CONCLUSION OF TRAINING • THIS TRAINING IS COMPREHENSIVE IN FILLING THE GAP BETWEEN THE THEORETICAL & PRACTICAL STUDIES • AT THE SITE THERE WAS A GOOD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BETWEEN THE CONTRACTOR, THE CONSULTANT, AND THE CLIENT. • I FOUND THAT THERE WAS GOOD UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE SUPERVISOR AND THE WORKERS, THOUGH WORKS ARE INTERDEPENDENT BUT THERE WERE NO CONTRADICTION BETWEEN THEM.
