Engineering:  Total length: 497,2 m Spans: 24.80m + 5 x 30.60m + 40.50m + 5 x 30.60m + 40.50m + 48.80m + 36.60m = 497.20 m Structure: Continuous beam, in a steel-concrete composite structure, supported by 14 reinforced concrete columns and 2 abutments, through neoprene pot-bearings. Located on the Green Line (Fonte do Cuco / Trofa) between the stations of Custió and Parque in the city of Maia. II. Engineering PARQUE DA MAIA VIADUCT Parque da Maia Viaduct longitudinal section Cost: 6,8 M € II. Engineering:  Parque station: The deck’s cross-section width enlarges from10,10 meters to 13,75 meters. II. Engineering PARQUE DA MAIA VIADUCT Parque da Maia Station Construction method The construction phasing together with the metallic beams slenderness and the fact that the beams are used for the slab’s concreting led to use an opposite deformation at manufacturing. The slab’s concreting was done: in a first phase on the spans in a second phase over the columns, in order to reduce the concrete shrinking stresses. II. Engineering:  Viaduto Maia Norte Located on the Green Line (Fonte do Cuco / Trofa) between the stations of Forum and Zona Industrial in the city of Maia. Total height: 2,50m, as the steel beam is 2,00m high and the concrete slab’s maximum thickness is 0,50m. Y-shaped concrete columns with a variable height ranging from 4.20m to 16.70m.
