Summary  Telecom Trends –  Smart device ownership is increasing rapidly and mobile OS is evolving to include web-based alternatives.  The amount of data is growing exponentially, creating congestion but also opportunities with big data & analytics.  OTT Services are destroying the voice market which means operators will have to find alternative investment avenues.  Enterprise Trends –  BYOD, CI can reduce CAPEX, Intelligent DCs can reduce OPEX  Hybrid Clouds, SDN will see further adoption in 2014  Cloud services will fundamentally change the role of the IT department to hold a more strategic role in the organization. 43
