The coach follows a process to help coachees reach solutions to business goals and professional developmental goals.  Coaching can be used for: o Developing people for higher responsibilities o Managing challenging projects o Managing change o Managing performance and feedback conversations o Retaining key employees and Career development o Facilitating behavioural change in ‘difficult team members’ o Managing conflict o Increasing self-awareness and emotional intelligence o Creative thinking and supporting Innovation o Improving the performance of your Salesforce. o Various other situations  Coaching can be provided to executives and managers across various functions like HR, sales, operations – right from young executives to top management.  A robust coaching programme can lead to a significant transformation in your people and a measurable impact on business results.

How is Coaching different from Mentoring? 21st Century Leaders as Coaches www.freemindtraining.com FreeMind Business Solutions  Coaching is not mentoring. In mentoring, the mentor is person with far greater experience who offers the mentee advice on what he or she should do.  On the contrary, coaches do not offer any advice, but guide the coachee through a defined process. Through this process, the coachees figures out the answers to their problems on their own.  Couldn’t they do that on their own? Not really – that’s the magic of coaching!  The process that the coach follows helps coachees to think of solutions they would never have thought of otherwise. Not only that, the coach helps coachees to form an action plan which they follow. The 21st Century leader plays a key role in the development of people within their organizations. This programme will equip managers with the skills and knowledge to:  Coach people towards their developmental goals  Inspire and empower people to deliver exceptional performance  Help people to innovate and solve business problems creatively  Link employee’s career aspirations to the organizational goals  Facilitate greater employee engagement within the organization  Start a coaching programme in their organization
