This presentation will show you exactly how you can use facebook contests to vastly improve the connection with your audience on facebook, and also increase the interaction between customers and prospects, which in turn will help improve viral marketing.
Facebook has many marketing prospects, however none have proved more effective for me than facebook contests. There are many different ways of interacting on Facebook, but the 3 ideas I will teach you here, are very simple to implement and can produce huge results when implemented consistently and effectively.

Facebook Contest Success • Facebook is the most popular social media platform on the net and it is still growing. Everyday people are sharing articles, videos and many other random things on facebook and something can go viral literally over night. • So how can you capitalize on this? Well one of the best ways that I am going to share with you today is through facebook contests.

Cont’d • Facebook contests can be run in different ways, but however you choose to run them, they are great ways of generating interest in your business and overall awareness. Facebook contests are also really great for one off offers that you are running and because they are offers, they are even easier to generate interest for.

Facebook Contest 1 • The easiest way to run a facebook competition, is to simply post a picture and ask people to like it, and in return they get put in a draw to win free membership to your site or a free product, depending on what you are offering. Now this may seem a bit of an easy route to take and there isn't much competition in it, but the reality is that it gets results. If you make the offer irresistible, people are going to do what you ask, whether thats sharing your post, liking it or both! This may not be the best option to generate leads and more exposure, but its a good place to start.

Facebook Contest 2 • Now if you are a company selling products, this works much better, but you could also do this if you are a company selling training or services. • Here's what you do.. • Provide an incentive like the chance to win a holiday, or an ipad etc.. • Then, depending on what industry you are in, you hold and image or video contest to showcase results of peoples own efforts. For example if you are in the fitness industry, you could hold a contest to find out who has the best six pack! • Or if you are in the music industry, you could hold a singing contest, or if its the internet marketing industry, it could be writing a blog post about the top 5 tips of PPC and then judging the winner. There is no limit to the contest types you can run, but images and videos are always a good bet, purely because people love sharing videos and pictures, especially if they are funny or particularly educational.

Facebook Contest 3 A good way of running your contests, is using leaderboard's, which your prospects can climb. If it is a contest that is measured by likes, shares and various other comments etc, a leaderboard is perfect. At the end of every day, you take stock of the number of likes, shares etc from everyone and keep track of it using a leaderboard, which you then post back onto facebook. It may take some time to do but it is all worth it when you are finished. If you take the time to make facebook competitions work, you will quickly see your likes and post shares go through the roof, it also provides a bit of fun for people at the same time!
