Agenda 20 minute workshop Purpose: gain useful strategies to take back to your institution to improve the digital competence of your educators. Have your mobile devices ready!

Since the term digital literacy was first coined by Paul Glister, use of the term has implied a critical approach to digital information and media: in his words, digital literacy is about mastering 'ideas, not keystrokes'. The widespread use of web technologies and accompanying social practices have shifted the focus away from a consume-create, or a research-publish model, and towards a model of knowledge in constant circulation (produce- circulate-enrich-reproduce).
