What you need to Succeed as a Distance Education Student You must meet some kind of technology requirement, specified by the school. You need access to a computer. It is generally helpful to have a high speed connection, especially when accessing video or audio files or when downloading files. DE programs are not necessarily correspondence courses. The classes are structured, assignments have specific due dates and there is a mixture of synchronous and asynchronous communication.
