We have always prided ourselves on our outstanding curriculum that has produced above average MEAP scores except for a few sub groups that we wanted to improve. The classroom performance systems and data bank purchased with this grant has further enhanced our ability to meet these goals.
What did we do? Students can use their wireless remote pads to respond to QuickTimeª and a multiple choice questions that are TIFF (Uncompressed) decomp are needed to see this pictu projected through an LCD projector onto a large screen at the front of the room. All students get a chance to respond before the teacher gives immediate feedback. The CPS keeps track of individual student and item data. Low areas can be retested with similar questions.

(This was not a huge problem.) • You need to teach the students how to aim the remotes correctly and handle them carefully so they are not dropped. • You also need to teach the students that this is not a game show, we are serious about assessment, so answers can not be shouted out or shared by trying to show what you clicked.
