Description

It is easy to doubt yourself or become distracted. Especially when you have ADD/ADHD (A.D.D. or A.D.H.D) but, you can do it!

March 6th, 2014 Published by: themusicjedi Don't Allow Yourself to Doubt and Become Distracted--Taylor Dietz It is easy to get distracted and doubt yourself. It is even easier to get distracted when you have some form or inkling of ADD/ADHD. Do NOT Doubt Decisions That You Have Made! I cannot narrow it down to one specific thing, as to why we allow ourselves to fall into this state, but it happens. I sat in an awesome conference about a month and a half ago and watched as someone walked up on stage and removed his limiting belief of not believing in himself. Don't Get Distracted It is very easy to give into your distractions. I myself have been guilty of it for like the past week. I want to give you a scenario or two here, and help you figure out how you can use your time wisely and not get distracted. Watch this video: It is very easy for a person like me to get distracted. You can see it in the video. I get distracted by people walking by, parking their car next to me, and a ton of stuff. But there is hope for you, if this is you. You do not have to fret, or worry if you are like me. In fact I am able to tune out the majority of my distractions by doing a bunch of different things. 1. I listen to calm, meditation style of music when I am on my laptop doing work. This helps me tune out other noise and people talking. Created using Zinepal. When I am typing on my computer, I try to face either a wall, or a window that has a view of nature (i.e. mountains, lakes, etc.) This helps me not watch the people and things going on around me so much, as it helps me focus and be in a more "light recieving state". 3. I listen to calm, meditation style of music when I read. This allows me to tune out noise and people talking, as well as helps me focus on what I am trying to do when I read, which is better myself. 4. I wake up early and exercise (at least 4 times a week). Exercising like this helps me keep the jitters out as I sit and focus on the task at hand later in the day. 5. I focus on developing more successful qualities by using my strengths. I read a book this morning that talked about how so many people focus on improving their weaknesses that they completely and totally deny their natural talents. Sure, talent is over-rated and you can develop and become whoever you want, but use your natural talent to help you do those things. I can promise you, that if you do this, you will be more successful. 6. Don't get frustrated if you do get distracted. It is way to dasy to get mad at yourself for wasting time, and then you spend the rest of your day, or even your week, in that grumpy angry, frustrated state. And then you just waste more time. Live, laugh, and love. Such a common thing to say, but oh, so true. You don't have to wait til the beginning of the next day to refocus, re-focus in the next hour, minute or second and move forward. So, there are six simple things that I do my very best to do, in order to see success and not get distracted. I'm not perfect at them, no one is, but I can promise that if you will try, you will move forward in a big way. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! -Taylor Dietz"the music jedi" P.S. if you don't know how to move forward in a big way, click here, enter your name, email address, and hit the get access button.
