    Stands for Hypertext Markup Language Markup Language part of the name means tags that used to do things like :format text and embed media. Some tag require opening tag and closing tag e.g. :<strong>god</strong > Deprecated tag that are not supported in the HTML standard but supported by browser e.g. <FONT>

 It places an <EMBED> tag within project <OBJECT> tag to ensure that multimedia elements will play to all browsers. DESKTOP WORKSPACE: VIEW PORT: The area of the screen available for the webpage . It will always be less than the full display

 Version of the browsers have been customized to run on small devices such as tablets ,ereaders ,net books etc  Follow the rules when layout out web pages for smaller viewports. Density Independent Pixels: Android OS allows programmers to write one application that flexibly covers all display sizes by using virtual display. 

 A principle that follow while designing and making multimedia elements for the web and particularly for handheld device.  <TABLE> tag –to organize text into 2 column 

   It is possible to flow text around an image using the align attribute of the <IMG> tag. <BR CLEAR= “left”> - if there is not enough text to fill the entire vertical height of the image the paragraph will begin on the new line ,left justified below the image. Space around the image use (HSPACE) and (VSPACE)

   Document contain foreign language special character ä ,which is called out in the doc using escape sequence. It begins with an ampersand and end with a semicolon e.g. “&auml; MIDI file is embedded in the page to provide background music.

     BROWSE CAN RECOGNIZE IMAGES: GIF,PNG,JPEG ,SVG. Compression algorithms to reduce file size. Saving JPEG files-using file name with the extension .jpeg or jpg Saving GIF files using Photoshop: First set the mode of your image to indexed color ,converting it to the 8 bit palette.

    Changing the mode of the image palettes are used. In order to specify the image should be dithered or not. Interlaced And Progressive Scans: in normal configuration ,image is stored as a single to bottom scan but in interfaced & progressive JPEG files ,data is organized in a different sequence.

   Background color:Color controls for the entire page are the attributes of the <BODY> tag and are set using CSS. E.g. body{background- color:#0000FF;} :#0000FF is used to specify background color.

    Background image are easily be made from a very small source. E.g. {background image : url(‘paper.gif’);} Clickable button: it used to make a graphical Image “clickable” so that it link to another document. Use the <A> tag to provide a link to larger graphic

  Image maps are the pictures with defined hot spots that link to another document. This is managed by the <MAP> tag and USEMAP attribute of the <IMG> tag.

   Embedding of sounds into document using the <AUDIO> tag Inside the tag some of the attributes are used: autoplay ,control ,preload. <A> tag can also be used to embedded audios.
