Implant Dentistry  It can be defined as a technique to restore the damaged or missed teeth.  In this the root of tooth is replaced  It supports the artificial teeth that has been replaced and gives it a look like the natural teeth.

Conditions to Undergo Dental Implant  A person with one or more of his teeth missing.  Dental implant with crown can be done if some or all teeth are missing.  The number of bones, their quality and condition are very much important before undergoing the procedure

Procedure  The procedure includes the various steps that take place in a period of time.  To evaluate if Dental Implant is required, that is carried out in Pre-treatment consultation.  In the next step the implant is placed, in which the titanium rod is inserted that acts as root of tooth and a temporary crown is put.  Then the permanent dental crown is placed, which is known as implant restoration.

Advantages  It prevents weakening of jawbone and hence retains the       natural look and shape of face. The adjacent healthy teeth are not affected while implant, because it doesn’t need grinding that is required while replacement. Improves appearance and gives natural looking teeth. Durable as it is long lasting Convenient The ease and stability in chewing is improved It doesn’t affect the healthy bone.
