slide 1: Cong Questions Ayushman Bharat Viability Just few days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to rollout universal health insurance scheme named Ayushman Bharat from Ranchi the State Congress has come up with series of doubts over the flagship programme of the Government. Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ajoy Kumar put a question mark over the budget allocated for the scheme along with the Center setting up 2022 target to fulfill this and several other welfare measures started by the BJP led Government. “Firstly it is being said by the Government that the Prime Minister is going to start Ayushman Bharat on September 23 from Jharkhand whereas the scheme has already been rolled out from Bijapur of Chhattisgarh on April 13. The BJP is telling a lie as they often do that” said the PCC chief addressing a press conference on Wednesday. Besides that the former MP argued that allocation of fund for the scheme was insufficient. “The scheme is meant to make only the BJP Ayushman. Very less fund insufficient to cover the entire country has been given in the annual budget. Also when the tenure of the PM is just till 2019 how come he gives assurance to complete his schemes by 2022 These are some of the jumlas since schemes like PMAY Fasal Bima Yojna Atal Pension Scheme and several others have failed miserably” added Ajoy Kumar. Coming to rising crime graph of capital Ranchi the State Congress president alleged that the police had failed to tame criminals. “In last two weeks the capital has witnessed slide 2: seven murders and three rapes. The police are incapable to do anything to the criminals who are patronised. When situation like this prevails in Ranchi one can easily imagine what would be the situation in other parts of the State” said the Congress leader putting across some of the incidents reported recently. Ajoy Kumar at the same time questioned the sincerity of the State Government while referring to law and order situation in other parts of Jharkhand like Dhanbad Bokaro Jamshedpur Godda Dumka and Deoghar and ridiculed the recent foreign trips of Chief Minister Raghubar Das and his ministerial colleagues.
