Goals •Identify characteristics of effective math instruction •Explain the value of 21st century skills and technology in education. •Identify technology tools that can be used in high school math courses to enhance instruction. •Give examples of how technology can be used in math lessons. •Create a teacher blog. •Create a math lesson incorporating 21st century skills and technology.

Focus Questions 1. Why is it important to incorporate 21st century skills and technology in education? 2. What is interactive instruction? 3. What are some technology tools that can support interactive instruction? 4. How do you currently incorporate technology into your instruction? 5. How can 21st century skills and technology promote math achievement?
