By using this easy gourmet food recipe thatessentially combines sugar, milk, nuts, vanilla, chocolate chips and the pears;anyone can make this treat right at home regardless of their particular expertiseor experience level in culinary matters.

Ingredients 4 fresh pears ½ cup granulated sugar 1 cup water 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 6 tablespoons finely chopped nuts 2 tablespoons powdered sugar 1 teaspoon milkFor the Chocolate Sauce: 6 tablespoons water 6 tablespoons granulated sugar ¼ cup butter 1 1/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chipsPreparation Instructions1) Prepare the pears by coring them from the bottom leaving the stems intact. Peel the pearswith a fruit peeler and chop off the bottom slice so that they can comfortably sit on a flat dish.2) In a saucepan over low heat blend together the sugar and water. When the sugar iscompletely dissolved add the pears, cover and simmer for 10-20 minutes or until the pears aretender. Remove from fire and set aside.3) Add vanilla into the saucepan then allow the pears to cool completely in the saucepan beforeplacing them in the refrigerator.4) Meanwhile in a large bowl mix together the nuts powdered sugar and milk.5) In a separate bowl make the chocolate sauce by placing water, sugar and butter in a shallowsaucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in thechocolate. Continue stirring until all the chocolate is smooth and melts into the mixture.6) Remove the pears from the fridge, spoon the nut mixture into their cavities and pour thechocolate sauce over them.7) Serve with the remaining chocolate sauce on the side.
