Black History Celebration “ Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery, and Today is a Gift, that’s why it’s called the Present ”

We celebrate Black History to honor African American World Leaders, Inventors, Scientists, Scholars, Educators, Entrepreneurs, Military, Religious & Civil Rights Leaders, Researchers, Artists, Astronauts, Athletes, Entertainers, and numerous others.

Innovations & Inventions Andrew Jackson Beard - patented the railroad car coupler and a rotary engine . Jack Johnson - heavyweight champion patented a wrench April the 18th, 1922. Bessie Blount - invented a device to help disabled persons eat. Sarah Boone - An improvement to the ironing board .

Black History month is celebrated during February each year. This celebration was first recognized in 1926 by Carter G. Woodson .
