 Question 1  You and the people in your country have discovered a large amount of oil. Oil is a very valuable resource that helps your nation run industry, fuel cars, and heat homes. You must decide what to do with the oil. You can:  A. Give the right to drill the oil to companies who have the money to invest. These companies can then sell it at whatever price people will pay for it  B. Control the oil supply and distribute the oil equally to the people of your nation

 Question 2  As founding member of your new nation, it is your responsibility to figure out certain laws about the work force. People in your nation must have jobs in order to but the nation’s products and keep our country running. Should you:  A. Let the workers compete for jobs, and let businesses decide how many workers they will hire, what they will pay them, and how they will be treated.  B. Ensure that everyone has a job be placing workers into jobs where they are needed. The government will decide how much the workers will be paid and how the workers will be treated.

 Question 3  Your country has a problem. There is not enough housing for everyone. You must decide what to do about this pressing issue. Should you:  A. Allow businesses to build large houses, and charge whatever they wish. This will mean that some people may not be able to afford housing.  B. Construct government owned apartments, giving everyone a modest living accommodation.

 Question 4  Your new nation is in a state of emergency. There is an infestation of insects killing your crops. You must decide something quickly or your nation will suffer dire consequences. You can either:  A. Raise the price of food to discourage some people from buying it  B. Place strict controls on the food supply and only allow people to purchase a certain amount of food.

 Question 5  A new nation needs many educated people to keep up with an every-changing, competitive world. You must decide how to run your educational system. Should you:  A. Let businesses set up schools, compete to attract students, and charge what they think are appropriate enrollment fees for students who wish to attend.  B. Pay for schools, make them free for the public, and require all citizens to attend a specific school.
