Reports (1/3): Changing look and feel If I were a template - where would I live? Default templates: - For Server/CLI:
 Installation path: ../cli/var/Reports/Templates - For Desktop:
 In the respective User-Preferences:
 ../callas software/callas pdfToolbox 7/Reports/Templates/..
 -> Can be opened from the report dialog

Reports (1/3): Changing look and feel Adding a custom template Copy the default report folder Rename it by adjusting the “manifest.xml” file

Reports (1/3): Changing look and feel Adding your own logos ! ! ! ! ! ! You can use PNG and JPG (as in regular HTML) but also PDF. The PDF is embedded properly in the generated PDF report in that case

Reports (1/3): Changing look and feel Summary 1. Duplicate template 2. Change the name in <manifest.xml> 3. In folder <../img> : - add your own logos (as PDF or PNG) 4. Reports (3/3): Adding Advanced Content The amount of information is limited The result dialog has much more information:
 - Document information Output-intents Values triggering fixups or errors ... ! Lots of information but not interesting
 for everyone ! But the XML report already contains
 all of this information ...

Reports (3/3): Adding Advanced Content Using the XML report XML-Reports have clearly structured information on: ! - The processed PDF The profile used System environment ! New for HTML-based reports: - Internally creating an XML report while creating the HTML report
 (from callas pdfToolbox 7.2.262) ! That information can then be accessed using standard means: - XPath - JavaScript


Reports (3/3): Adding Advanced Content What you need to do... <index.html> - Adjust to include information from the XML report ! <manifest.xml> - Request information from pdfToolbox (such as the generation of an XML report) ! JavaScript und XPath - Used to get information from the generated XML report ! <default.css> - Adjusting style and presentation of the new content !

Reports (3/3): Adding Advanced Content <manifest.xml> Use <manifest.xml> to ask for report parts (eg. the XML-Report, Thumbnails, parts of the standard report). ! By adding simple parameters, you can order:
 - XML-Reports (optionally with ink coverage information) The temporary results generated during report generation (the HTML file, CSS, Javascripts, XML report…)
