Anna Karenina- A British Film? Anna Karenina is a Russian based film that is set in Moscow in Russia. It is actually set in Surrey, England. They speak in English, and the main character Kiera Knightly is British as well as Jude Law and Aaron TaylorJohnson. The director, Joe Wright is an English director. The film is produced in the UK. All these factors make it a British film. The genre of the film is drama and the themes involved in the film include marriage, affairs, Russian society and culture background and the way in which women were treated in that time period. One of the British directors is Eric Fellner, which is also famous for other British film productions.

Harry Potter The main actor Daniel Radcliffe is British. Emma Watson is British, but Rupert Grint and Michael Gamson are Irish. The director David Yates is also British. It was made in the Warner Brothers studio in England. It was also produced by Heyday films and moving picture company. The genre of the film is mystery, thriller and fantasy.

- Paramount benefit from owning these companies as they create a higher brand awareness. They can make more profit and become more advanced by creating more media products, incorporating more peoples creative ideas that appeal to different audiences. They also branched out into the music business, helping to make more profit in a different market, also increasing their brand status. Owning a music production company helps Paramount during the production of their films. If they want to make the soundtrack they can use their music production company to do it. By owning theme parks and television channels, they can also help to promote their film and improve customer communications. Other products in different markets protect against failure of current products. - Paramount released a record breaking six consecutive movies all making more than $100million at the box office. These include Rango, Thro, Kung Fu Panda, Super 8, Transformers and Captain America. One of their latest films The Wolf of Wolf Street, is nominated for best actor, Star Trek for best visual effects, Nebrasca for Best picture and bad grandpa for best makeup and styling. Titanic was one of their biggest successes, and they re released this in 3D in 2012. Grease was also produced by Paramount Pictures.
