Some of Brian Takita's thoughts on the advancement of technology

Advancing Technology It is said that by 2020 the amount of devices being used by humans for communication will double or even triple. The advancement of so many technologies is rapidly pushing the world forward in what can be done. Nowadays many manual tasks have been completely replaced by their technological counterparts. You can see the advancement happening just about anywhere you look. Cars being safer, education being more accessible, healthcare being more reliable. Just some of the vast benefits of technology advancing. Learning how to code these days is like learning how to speak a native language. It can change your life drastically and if you know coding you are almost garaunteed to have many job oppurtunities. Many people are adamant about sticking to their old methods of doing things either for fear of learning something new or lack of understanding or both. Systems are in place to help these people learn what they do not know. The problem with many of these systems is the technical jargon, and general usage of conepts and systems that you must have a prior understanding of to grasp the content at hand. Companies like Apple have adopted the cause of teaching and simplifying technology for users who have little to no understanding of it. A stand that seems to be working well for the companies that take it. Computers today are vastly superior to their original ancestors. 10 years ago, a computer with an eighth of the processing power of today's standard cost well over $1500 dollars typically. Today the prices have not much changed, but a computer purchased today will last you on average about 3-4 times as long as the older computers. Understanding computing and mobile communication is crucial in today's world. If companies continue to prioritize to an extent people learning how to operate their technology, and technology in general, it will advance even faster.
