slide 1: Bio on Eileen Linzey Executive Director School Educational Services Eileen Linzey has served thousands of students and families for the past 30 years with one of the most specialized backgrounds in guidance and family services possible. Her career began as a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice having been trained and selected by the renowned Christian author Norman Wright to become a team member in private counseling. She specialized in working with children and adolescents and their parents. Eileen was offered the opportunity to work as a mental health counselor at Capistrano By the Sea Psychiatric Hospital in Dana Point CA and worked with hospitalized patients in the adolescent chemical dependency unit adolescent eating disorder unit and adult psychiatric unit. This provided her with an incredible background when she transitioned her career to working in schools as a school psychologist serving elementary middle and high school students. Eileen quickly earned the reputation as being one of the most competent school psychologists in the area and was assigned many of the most difficult or litigious cases to ensure compliance issues were met and students were served most effectively. After many years in the school psychology field Eileen desired to transition back to the counseling and guidance arena to better use her incredible skills of providing individual and group counseling as well as family guidance to the middle and high school students in Lake Forest CA as she returned to Orange County and resided in Huntington Beach CA where her husband served as a high school administrator. Eileen developed an interest in school administration and became the Chief Program Director over guidance and special education services in Northern California at the bequest of the school board so she could provide training and support to a new administrative team. The result of her short-term work there was the incredible recognition of being selected to receive the 2017 National Model School Award for the Targeted Case Management Program she developed and implemented. This program achieved the most amazing results of close to 100 graduation rate and close to 100 college acceptance rate of her students. Eileen founded School Educational Services to provide support training and coaching to school leaders and teachers. Eileen is a talented trainer presenter academic coach administrative coach and teacher. Her passion is and always has been for counseling students. She is one of the most knowledgeable educators today in the arena of student services intervention programs special education programs and is an excellent support to administrators. Eileen is married to her college sweetheart a retired school superintendent and proud mother of Blake and her canine “baby boy”-Kota.
