A SWMP must be written before construction work commences and then implemented and subsequently reviewed. The responsibilities for a SWMP lie with both the client and the principal contractor. Betts has a wealth of experience in assisting customers with SWMPs to manage waste more effectively (save money), lead to a safer and more productive site and help companies to demonstrate how they are managing their environmental performance. An up and coming driving factor for SWMP is The Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM where additional credits can be obtained for effective construction waste management.
