BEQUESTER TIPS – Tip 01 Post Winning Sell Offers
In Bequester, a Sell Offer is an offer posted by a business indicating its intent to sell a product/service to other businesses, at a discounted price. The main aim of Sell Offers is to get your business to rapidly sell new or existing products/services; and acquiring new customers/clients in the process.
To create a new Sell Offer, click the Orange “Create Sell Offer” button from [either] the Opportunity Feed, Buy Requests or Sell Offers pages.
A New Sell Offer form is immediately loaded. This form is made up of 7 key pieces of information that is required from you.
This is a 320 character description of the product/service you are offering at a discounted price. A winning Sell Offer is one where the description entices the potential buyer to make an order on the offered product/service. Do not put unnecessary information in the description…make it concise and straight to the point. 1
This is the normal price of the product/service. If the product/service is a package consisting of a number of items, this will be the total price of all items combined. [This makes it easy for the buyer to understand what their total cost could have been if they didn’t take up the offer]. 2
This is the discounted price of the product/service on offer. If a package, this will be the total price of all items combined. If you want to gain new customers, we suggest you offer a serious discount to entice potential buyers. Hint: 25% to 50% discount is really enticing!!! 3
Please Note: price fields are numbers, including decimals. If the price is “$1,550.50”, then you should input “1150.50” in the fields. Do not input the currency symbol or commas to separate thousands…these will be added by the system. Note
This is the targeted city for the offer. This shows the city where you are able to provide the service and it makes it easy for potential buyers to search Sell Offers by city. If you can provide the product/service in all cities, select “All Cities” from the options. 4
This is the category and sub- category of the product/service on offer. This makes it easy for potential buyers to search Sell Offers by product/service categories. 5
This provides the quantity your business is able to provide, based on your stock levels or capacity to deliver. Don’t try so much to acquire new customers/clients that you cannot provide the products/services to the businesses that order from the Sell Offer. 6
Sell Offers allow you to post images related to the product/service on offer. On mobile, you are able to instantly use your camera and upload the image. As the saying goes, “a picture says a million words”…make your image count and enticing enough. 7
Remember, Sell Offers are only the first step to acquiring and creating relationships with new customers/clients. Don’t overstretch yourself…offer what you can really deliver on. Under-Promise and Over- Deliver. Make your Sell Offers count.
