Nowadays due to the diversity of dance forms practitioners are not restricted to the regions or place where they are popular and find it difficult to branch out. When it comes to sports we use words like basketball, football, badminton, tennis, rope jumping etc. and other outdoor activities but instead of these sports we find kids involved in other activities which involve less physical activity. There may be many reasons that kids neglect sports, may be they are not interested or it’s not very entertaining.

In this competitive world, many children find it hard to dedicate time for sports or physical activities therefore they suffer from various health issues like obesity, hormonal imbalance, lifestyle disorders, mood swings, depression etc. although one of their first priority is to stay healthy and fit. The easiest way of maintaining good health and a good source of entertainment is dance. Dance is a great form of physical activity and great fun which every kid would love to perform. Due to diversity in dance forms children can also select the dance form in which they are interested. Dancing is a great bodyweight workout that strengthens muscles and improves flexibility. It also helps you to breathe your way to calmer mind and a lesser-stressed you. It can increase blood flow to the brain, burn body fat and strengthen the heart. Moreover, it imparts a positive kick-start your day and keeps you energetic, positive and happy throughout. If your kid is a couch potato who loves watching television and playing video games, here’s the trick. As soon as the commercial starts play his favorite song and ask him to dance until the break is over. It is a great stress buster. It is an interesting activity that deviate your kid from the drudgery of everyday life. It is also helpful for the rejuvenation of the mind.
