Information for the candidate Advanced Force (AFR) & Special Force Ranger (SFR) Dear recruit, As director of the AWDF I congratulate you in advance with your choice to present yourself as a candidate for an elite ranger unit. Unfortunately, we just want the best! Only 10% of the recruits will ultimately succeed in his formation and work for us. A tough selection should determine whether you can start later this year the training to elite ranger. You are a candidate for a unique unit that offers many possibilities. You choose a demanding job with good prospects. Everyone at the AWDF must undergo rigorous testing, including physical tests. These tests can be found in Appendix A. It is important to have a good condition at the AWDF. Experience has shown that this condition is best to build over a longer period of time. So best to start right now! I hope you can start your training as a junior elite ranger soon, so that we can welcome you in a big family. Good luck! Best regards, Jan-Frederik “Jean DB” Goyvaerts Director African Wildlife Defence Force (AWDF)
