BY KULE ABRAHAM USING VIDEO IN THE CLASSROOM- THE TOP 10 (THINKING ABOUT EDUCATIONAL VIDEO)

Introduction The dev’t of digital audiovisual resources can be rewarding. However, it is important to have a clear rationale for what you want to achieve pedagogically. The complex process of designing, developing & using rich media is exceptionally engaging for both teachers and students and one may lose sight of the teaching & learning goals & focus on the multimedia product rather than the learning process.

The complex process of designing, developing & using rich media is exceptionally engaging for both teachers and students and one may lose sight of the teaching & learning goals & focus on the multimedia product rather than the learning process.

It is therefore useful to take a structured step-by-step approach and to clearly express what you want to achieve with your students, noting some of the technical & design issues that will help or hinder your progress towards the goal.
