Who are We? Indonesian Student Association (ISA), Tokyo Institute of Technology. SAKANO Laboratory, Graduate School of Decision Science and Technology, Department of Social Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology. The Society for Indonesian Political Economics. This new professional organization aim at developing the networks among scholars who concern on recent Indonesian political-economic transition processes.

The recent social, economic and political dynamics in Indonesia do not indicate that there are structural changes in the governance implementation, especially in development policy formulation as obligated by the reform agenda. Aim and Objectives To disseminate and share the knowledge on policy development at national and local level (cities/districts) and the change at regional environment To set up information and communication networks in the area of science, technology, social development and related aspects among TIT communities and other parties both in Indonesia, Japan and other parts of the world To encourage future co-operations in the field of science, technology and social development.

Mission To establish a substantial network among scientists, policy makers and common citizens by opposing all sort of exploitation and discrimination on the basis of religion, race, ethnicity, and other social/economic/cultural constructs and to encourage constructive critical analyses of the Indonesian policy development by supporting debates and discussions on alternative visions for a better living society
