The project started 1 January 2008, will be funded for 30 months;

The main contribution of the MOMENTUM project lies in a support action to create a network of existing and new eParticipation projects funded by the EU in order to monitor, evaluate, consolidate and disseminate their results.

The European eParticipation study : European eParticipation project starts on 01-01-2008 and finishes on 28-2-2009; To identify the legitimate and appropriate roles of eParticipation at European level and the barriers to adoption; To map the state of play of eParticipation in the EU and Member States; To support dialogue and networking on eParticipation between the EC and key stakeholders at local, regional, national and EU level; To explore the scope for broader diffusion of eParticipation in the EU; To make recommendations for EU level actions in the field of eParticipation. The European eParticipation study :
