BIBFRAME Approach • Identify functional descriptive requirements among various stakeholders • Balance the creative tensions between descriptive needs of past and future • Recognize there is no “done”, but rather an evolving process • Define a high level Linked Data content / carrier model (simple things be simple, complex things be possible) • Create Web Identifiers of “Nouns” and “Verbs” • Under specify the shared Schema • Provide a light weight means of constraining the option space to support specific individual, community needs
