Question & Answers Q: When is the new web site going live? A: Due to the size and scope of these releases we will be implementing the project in phases starting the first week of March. The first week will incorporate the new e-mail hosting platform followed by the new IDX feeds and Agent Finder information in the second week of March. The third week will be the release of the production web site. This staggered implementation will also allow us to host daily training sessions on each module. Q: Is there still a sign up fee? A: Yes, all NEW agents will still have to pay a one-time application and setup charge of $199. Q: What about the $200 Annual Membership Fee? A: There is no longer an annual membership fee. Q: Is there a discount if I want to pay the $29.95 monthly all at once? A: Yes! We will discount the package to $299. Q: How can I pay for the fee? A: We will release an additional page to your Agent personal information page in the Virtual Office where you can select your payment option. We will accept credit card payments (AMEX, Master Card & Visa) via VeriSign secured transaction processing. For annual payments we will also accept checks. More detailed information on payment options will be posted on the Agent payment page when it is released. Q: If I am not practicing real estate but am a recruiter, do I still have to pay the monthly fee? A: Yes. This platform is an OUTSTANDING recruiting tool.

Question & Answers Q: What about training on these new services? A: We will conduct live training sessions multiple times a week along with training videos & written tutorials. Schedules will be posted in the Virtual Office under the Website Update tab. Q: Will this change our e-mail addresses or A: No. All new enhancements will utilize the same domain and you will not have to change your e-mail address. Q: When will the monthly $29.95 fee start? A: The charge will begin April 1st and billing will occur on the first of each month. Q: What happens to agents that do not pay the Agent Technology Fee? A: We will make every attempt to contact all agents via e-mail and by phone. Those who elect not to pay will be suspended in the system for 30 days. Q: I thought that Connect would never charge Agents any “Fees”? A: We have not changed our stance to not charge desk fees, transaction fees or franchise fees that other real estate companies typically charge. This charge or “fee” replaces the annual membership fee of $200. To make it easier for the agent, Connect is allowing this charge to be paid on a monthly basis.
