Communications tech to support Transition http://supportingtransition.co.uk/ Isolation can have detrimental impact on transition process from ISP to independence. Using Skype and other such technologies to link students with others. Using readily available technology to develop and maintain communication will support the transition process allowing students to integrate back into their own community or to a new community away from their home environment more easily.
