This is a LICENCECHECK poem created by our own Sales team. It's a tale of a driver named Sid who makes silly mistakes whilst on and off the road. Could your drivers be making the same errors? Please read and share if possible.

A sorry tale of a driver…..he could be one of yours………….. Silly Sid

Silly Sid likes to speed Goes much faster than he needs, Stopped by the cops One day last May, Went to court and had his say……..

He got points, and a fine, But didn’t send his licence back in time. So now he’s revoked, and shouldn’t drive, But he’s on the road, in your time……

Silly Sid, THAT’S A CRIME!!!!!!!!!!!

And then one day, a tragic accident. A cop knocks at your door. He wants to talk to the chap Sid says that he drives for……

“Did you know your guy shouldn’t drive? We’d like to see your records” A paper copy of his licence is all you’ve got But that’s not his latest record….

So now its YOU they want to see In court, to ask YOU why, YOU let him drive, that stupid Sid, And caused someone to die………

Remember… "It is an offence for a person to cause or permit another person to drive on a road, a motor vehicle of any class, if that other person is not the holder of a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class." (Source: Road Traffic Act 1988)
