We've had a busy year. This infographic details which National Governing Bodies of Sport we've supported and who has been involved in the Sportivate and Sainsbury's School Games programmes.

2013-14 tyne & wear sport NGBsTyne&WearSporthassupportedin2013-14: Total number of NGB requests: 297 ANGLING In June 2013 Tyne & Wear Sport created a website for the North East Fly Casting Club. Since it was launched the club has gained 75 new members. golf Members of the Tyne & Wear Sport team delivered a funding workshop to 28 pros, coaches and secretaries which benefitted 13 clubs netball Tyne & Wear Sport’s position on the Technical Support Group has helped England Netball market events and opportunities to the 37 affliated clubs in Tyne & Wear. rugby union The production of a marketing strategy for the 2015 World Cup has helped over 30 clubs in the area prepare for increased interest in the sport OVERVIEWOFWORKwithngbs Sportivate Over the past 12 months Tyne & Wear Sport has been involved in supporting NGBs and delivering a number of programmes to increase the quantity and improve the quality of sporting provision within the sub-region.
