Why are cultures different? 为什么文化都不同? Wèishéme wénhuà dōu bùtóng?

Each society is unique. 每个社会都是独一无二的. Měi gè shèhuì dōu shì dúyīwú'èr de.

Each society has different historical 每个社会都有不同 experiences. 的历史经验。 Měi gè shèhuì dōu yǒu bùtóng de lìshǐ jīngyàn.

Some societies are capitalist. 有些社会是资本主义。 Yǒuxiē shèhuì shì zīběn zhǔyì.

Some countries are socialist. 有些国家是社会主义. Yǒuxiē guójiā shì shèhuì zhǔyì.

Some countries are post-industrial. 有些国家是后工业。 Yǒuxiē guójiā shì hòu gōngyè.

Some people live in urban areas. 有些人居住在城市地区. Yǒuxiē rén jūzhù zài chéngshì dìqū.

Some people live in suburban areas. 有些人住在郊区。 Yǒuxiē rén zhù zài jiāoqū.

Some people live in rural areas. 有些人住在农村地 Yǒuxiē rén zhù zài 区。 nóngcūn dìqū.

Each generation has different cultures. 每个世代都有不同的文化. Měi gè shìdài dōu yǒu bùtóng de wénhuà.

Some people joined the army in World War I 有些人在第一次世界大战当兵. Yǒuxiē rén zài dì yī cì shìjiè dàzhàn dāng bīng.

Some people were born during & after WWI (1901-1924) 有些人是在第一次世界大战期间及之后出生. Yǒuxiē rén shì zài dì yī cì shìjiè dàzhàn qíjiān jí zhīhòu chūshēng.
