Photo Preferences

Front Cover Photo The photograph I decided to use for my front cover is one similar to what I wanted. A girl posed not looking at the camera with her hand on her hip. I’m also happy with what I made the girl wear as she has purple in her dress, which ties in with the title’s colour. The one highlighted is the one that I used and I’m very pleased with it, it is the exact image I planned to have in my head. The other photos weren’t as good as the one I chose because they didn’t look professional enough and the shadowing didn’t look good.

Double Page Photo The photo I have chosen is the one with the red line around it. I didn’t know how to have the girl posed for the double page spread but with help from my photography planning and people I was taking photos with I am very happy with the outcome. The shadowing on her looks amazing and it’s my favourite photo that I have taken so far in Media. I think it looks like and actual photo shoot photograph. The other two photos weren’t as professional looking as this one and it looks perfect for a double page spread in a magazine. I’m going to position the text so that it’s around her and have it in 3 columns to make it look as realistic as possible.

Couples Photo I didn’t take many photos for my couple photo because the one I have chosen was actually the first one I took and I knew I wanted to use it straight away. The shadows on the back-drop make them seem important and significant somehow. They are both smiling and look happy to be together, like an actual real life couple would and that’s why I have decided to use the photo highlighted. I am however going to feature the top left one on my contents page along with the one highlighted because I do like that one equally as much.

Next Issue Photo The photo I have decided to use is my favourite photo because they’re all smiling and happy, which is what I would picture a girl band to look like. I positioned them in a girl band style pose to make it more realistic. The fact they’re all wearing different types of clothes stands out and makes them seem individual and you notice them. The top right photo is also a good photograph but it didn’t look professional enough to me. I especially like the shadows on the highlighted picture and that is what gives it a realistic look.
